On 27th July Google has gifted new grouping tool for dynamic search ads. This new selection option is best for finding the website web page groups according to the right categories and now able to see the preview of dynamic ads.

In this article I discuss in detailed about new options which is publically by Google and how we can take benefits of this new dynamic target option for ads management.

What is dynamic search ad?

3 year ago, Google had provided the dynamic search ads option to advertisers. Using this feature you have no need to add any keywords and heading of text ads. On the basis of your website content, Google automatically choose the suitable search term for your ads and shows your text ads for that search query. For finding the right keywords for your website and ads, Google use the organic web crawling technology (crawling, indexing and serving) and check which searches term is best for showing your ads.

What are new announcement?

Want to know about new things which are now available for dynamic search ads campaign management then you needs to go on auto targets option in Adwords campaign and click on dynamic ad target:

You will find that now an enhanced (changed) dynamic ad target option is available at your account.

Which new targeting option you have available:

If you are using dynamic search ads already then you can realise that Google has retool the dynamic auto target option.

Now you have 3 types of options developing dynamic ads campaign:

  • Use categories recommended for your website
  • Use all WebPages
  • Use specific WebPages

First one is the new Grouping tool which is added by Google for understanding about your website pages categorization according to your service, offers and products.

What new thing you will be known by this options?

In above example you see the following terms:

  • Target options: In target option I have discussed 3 types of option now available for targeting.
  • Category search: When you click on “Use categories recommended for your website” option, you find that you see the category list on the basis of your website theme (industry & targeted Users) and show the different options with grouping of relevant page according to categories. For Grouping your webpage Google synchronise your website and check your web content.
  • Sub category drill down: As per grouping Google show the sub category drill down option for micro categorised your web pages.
  • Sample preview: On the basis of previous category and sub category now you eligible to see the sample preview of your ads. (after this new Update)

After click on sample preview you see ads preview like this:

  • Search query: For which search queries your website is visible.
  • Landing page: Which LP targeted used by Google in dynamic ads.
  • Ads: a dummy preview of ads for understanding about “look of dynamic search ads”.

This sample preview is not exact, so it shows only estimated data.

  • Category selection: “Category search”, “Sub category” and “sample preview” options are helpful for deciding about “which are the Landing Pages should target from dynamic search ads”. Select right ads and add it in your campaign.
  • Scroll-bar: No. Of categories and subcategories available so by scrolling the cursor you can analyze more detailed the options before selecting them.

27th July announcement is direct indication that Google is trying to focus on result orientation and want to serve more benefits to Adwords users.
