On 27 Aug, Google has introduced new ad extension named “Structured snippet extensions”. This ads extension is upgraded form of dynamic structured snippets (automated ads extensions).
We all know the wonders of Google ads extensions. Google has published new ads extension, similar format of call out extension and new version of dynamic structured snippets
Dynamic structured snippets
Google is showing dynamically some additional information in ads from destination URL like any offers, specific services details and products details. Now on demand of users now Google has added new manual ad extension named as structured snippet extensions.
Now if you are going to setup any search ads campaign then you can use this ad extension for show up the specific amenities which has given by you to your customers or users. It makes your ads more attractive and relevant.
For example:
You are in hotel business and you giving swimming pool, free WI-Fi and other facilities then you just need to setup the values of amenities (services) in structured snippet extensions.
What happen after using this ads extension?
After using this extension, you will find predefined “Header” of ads on the basis of your defined values. The header will have changed according to the device, search query and value length.
See above example, when I have searched leather boots, I see the styles in ads due to the structured snippet extensions.
Call out extension VS structured snippet extensions
Main difference between this two extensions is “after service VS with service”. In call out extension you can show the detail which makes your services or products unique like 24*7 supports etc. and In structured snippet extensions, you can highlight specific things which are giving by you with product or service (why to choose your service) like free shipping, free Wi-Fi etc.
Ads extensions are very helpful for improving the performance of ads and ads rank. For taking the benefits of ads extension, it is required to setup properly the ads extensions and implement right combination with ads.
Structured snippets will be rolling out to all AdWords accounts over the coming weeks. Please note that structured snippets can only be created in English at this time.
